This site contains freeware add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. Mainly airports in southern Finland and some points of interest in southern Finland. Three Estonian airports and one in Germany are also available.

FSAddons.fi was developed to host my own add-ons and add-ons that I have contributed to. You will find all my published MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 add-ons here, and on the page "Useful Add-ons" you will find links to other Finnish and Nordic (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Iceland) freeware add-ons. Also note the "MSFS2024 Compatibility" page which lists the status of the compatibility of my MSFS2020 add-ons in MSFS2024! 

A couple of my add-ons are also available on flightsim.to - they are the exact same versions that can be found here!

The following add-ons are recommended when flying in Finland. The Airport Heightmaps are required by a couple of my sceneries, others just add nicely to the immersion. Download and install if you are flying in Finland!

• Finland Airport Heightmaps (+DEM) by @Morko
  • The add-on contains heightmaps for all Finnish airports/flightplaces and POI fixes. This is an absolute must for the correct DEM of all Finnish airports! Recommended also with WU15!
• FISD Library
  • A library of common objects on Finnish airports, originally made by FISD (Finnish Scenery Designers). This libary is required by some of my sceneries, and unfortunately the original link in the readme files have been destroyed at files.fsnordic.net. This is the same version that used to be available through those links.
• Finland EcoRegions by @Tatu 
  
  • This scenery modifies the boreal forests of Finland. The forests are divided in Conifer, deciduous and mixed forests as in Corine Land Cover data. The default MSFS trees are too high and forests too dense, so different biomes for Finnish forests are included. The area expands slightly to the neighboring countries. (MSFS 2020)
• FinnForest for MSFS2024 by @Tatu
  • This scenery is the MSFS2024 version of Finland EcoRegions and it improves the vegetation areas in Finland by selecting correct vegetation types and less dense coverage. 
• VFR Reporting Points Finland by @frkristi
  • This Mod adds VFR Reporting Points as Point of Interest and GPS Waypoints for Finland.
• Flight Obstacles Finland for MSFS2024 by @Tatu
  • adds flight obstacles in Finland missing from the default obstacles. Flight obstacles included are masts (some custom made, some default objects), cranes and chimneys. Additionally weather stations, water towers, bird watching towers, seamarks, lighthouses, barns and many other objects are included. A smaller, light version is also available here that do not include barns, stones and some other smaller objects. 
• Finland Seamarks by @Tatu  (new version 1.5, only needed for MSFS2020)
  
  • Seamarks and lighthouses along the entire Finnish coast (works together with the Finnish South Coast Lighthouses add-on available on this page). NOTE! Not needed for MSFS2024 if you use the Flight Obstacles Finland (see above) as that add-on includes the seamarks and lighthouses!

By downloading this scenery you accept the following conditions

 

End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”)

 

The Developer (Creator of the add-on) grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install and use this Flight Simulator scenery solely for your personal, noncommercial entertainment purposes strictly in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. Contact the Developer for commercial or educational usage licensing.

 

Restrictions

You agree not to, and you will not permit others to:

 

a) license, sell, rent, lease, assign, distribute, transmit, host, outsource, disclose or otherwise commercially exploit the Scenery or any part of it or make the Scenery or any part of it available to any third party.

b) Any use of this scenery for commercial flight training is prohibited.

c) Any use of this scenery in military training of any kind is prohibited.

 

Modifications to Software

The Developer reserves the full right to modify, suspend or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the software or any service to which it connects, with or without notice and without liability to you. You are not allowed to modify and re-distribute the software or any parts of it.

 

Terms and Termination

This Agreement shall remain in effect until terminated by you or the Developer. The Developer may, in its sole discretion, at any time and for any or no reason, suspend or terminate this Agreement with or without prior notice.

 

This Agreement will terminate immediately, without prior notice from the Developer, in the event that you fail to comply with any provision of this Agreement. You may also terminate this Agreement by deleting the scenery and all copies thereof from your computer.

 

Limitation of liability

The software is provided "as is" and in no event shall the Developer be liable to you or any part related to you for any indirect, incidental consequential, special exemplary, or punitive damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, loss of data or other such pecuniary loss), whether under a theory of contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), products liability, or otherwise, even if the Developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

 

Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Amendments to this Agreement Developer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace this Agreement at any time.
