Ummeljoki airfield (EFKW) is an uncontrolled, private-owned airfield for light aircraft in the village Ummeljoki, some three kilometres west of Myllykoski, and some 10 kilometres to the south of Kouvola city centre in South-eastern Finland. The airfield got its ICAO code EFKW from Kasper Wrede, the first Finn to have a pilot’s licence, who in 1914 test flew the airplane he had built on the ice of the nearby Kymijoki river.
